Flotation Fashion products have NOT received approval from the Lifesaving & Fire Safety Division US Coast Guard Headquarters http://www.dco.uscg.mil/CG-ENG-4/ – Flotation Fashion LLC is working with partners to meet ANSI/CAN/UL 12402-5 requirements set by the Lifesaving & Fire Safety Division US Coast Guard which details the testing, and performance criteria needed to gain Lifesaving equipment type approval as well as the steps and who the testing should be performed by. Until US Coast Guard approval is received, Flotation Fashion products should Not be utilized as lifesaving equipment. Flotation Fashion products should NOT be considered as lifesaving equipment.
